Our Founding
Founded by father and son duo Timothy (RIP) and Dustin Brown, Brown Storm Service has its roots (no pun intended) in the local community in and around the Springfield area. Both Riverton natives, with a love and dedication for helping others, we decided in 2001 to start a tree service company, with community at the forefront of our minds. Since then, over twenty years ago, we have grown in size, nearly tripling the size of our crew, allowing us to serve even more people when they need us the most. And despite the growth…our hearts and mission remain focused on the customers and small businesses of our local community.
Our Mission
Our mission at Brown Storm Service is to raise the bar regarding what it means to serve others in our community. Because our customers are more often than not, our own neighbors, we treat every customer, and every job like it was being done for our own neighbors or family. We strive to be available when we’re needed the most, wherever we’re needed the most. Our crew for example has found itself in Louisiana helping to clean up after Hurricane Katrina, and in Joplin Missouri after the devastating tornado. This in addition to cleanup efforts around central Illinois when needed. Above all we strive to provide five star service for whatever we’re hired to do, local or abroad, because we realize there are no second chances for first impressions.
